🔒 Privacy First & Local Storage

SaveSense is a local-first application. Your financial records are stored only on your device. We do not host your personal data on cloud servers.

1. Data Collection by Feature

Financial Records (All Platforms)

Expense and income data are stored locally in an encrypted database on your device.

Smart Location Alerts Android Only

On Android, SaveSense offers "Smart Location Alerts" using Geofencing technology:

Location Data: Used locally to trigger alerts when you enter or exit specific spending zones.
Processing: Location data is processed locally on the device and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
iOS Note: This feature is currently not available on iOS/iPadOS and no location data is collected on Apple devices.

Advertising (Third-Party)

We use Google AdMob to keep our app free for everyone.

iOS Users: We use the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request permission for personalized ads.
Android Users: We use the Google Advertising ID.

2. Permissions

Storage (All): To save records and manage backups.
Location Android Only: Required specifically for Geofence-based smart alerts.
Tracking iOS Only: For ad personalization (Opt-in).

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal financial data. Anonymized technical data is only shared with:

Google AdMob: For ad delivery and performance analytics.
Firebase: For anonymized crash reporting to improve stability.

4. Your Control

You can delete all your data instantly through the app settings. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored records.
