2.1 Photos & Images

Mokamoji analyzes photos you provide to generate character and personality insights. Images are:

Processed temporarily for AI analysis only
Never stored on our servers
Never shared with third parties beyond the AI processing service
Deleted immediately after analysis is complete

2.2 Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage data including:

App features used (character analysis, poem mode)
Language preferences selected
General crash and performance reports

No personally identifiable information is included in usage data.

2.3 Advertising Data

Mokamoji uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

Device advertising ID
IP address (anonymized)
General location (country/region level only)
App interaction data for ad relevance

3 How We Use Your Information

4 AI Processing & Third-Party Services

Mokamoji uses the following third-party AI services to power its features:

4.1 Groq AI (Language Model)

Character analysis and poem generation are powered by Groq's AI API. Photos are sent to Groq's servers for processing. Groq does not store images beyond the duration of the API request.

4.2 Google ML Kit (On-Device)

Basic facial detection is performed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit. This processing happens locally and no data is sent to Google's servers for this feature.

5 Data Retention

Mokamoji follows a minimal data retention approach:

Photos: Processed in memory only, never saved to our servers
Analysis results: Stored locally on your device only
Language preference: Stored locally on your device via SharedPreferences
Ad data: Managed by Google AdMob per their retention policies

6 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

With AI service providers (Groq) solely to deliver analysis results
With Google AdMob to serve advertisements
When required by law or legal process
To protect the rights and safety of our users

8 Children's Privacy

Please note that since Mokamoji does not store photos or personal data on our servers, deletion requests will be forwarded to our AI processing partner (Groq) as applicable. Data stored locally on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app.

9 Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. These include:

Encrypted API communications (HTTPS/TLS)
No persistent storage of photos on external servers
Minimal data collection principle
Regular security reviews of third-party integrations

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
